At Christ Church San Antonio we desire to extend the grace, compassion, empathy, and assistance of Jesus Christ to our members, regular attenders, and the community. The Deacons and Deacon Assistants exist to organize benevolence in our church body and local community, while also caring for the church property and regular services. The Deacon’s work can include things like meeting physical needs, assisting with unexpected expenses, or helping make connections with appropriate resources and walk through long-standing financial challenges. In all of this, the aim of the Deacons is to encourage a spirit of generosity within the body and outside the walls of the church.
